AUDIOVISUAL INTERVIEW COLLECTION

The association “Mémoire Vive / Memória Viva” aims to collect and transmit the memory of Portuguese immigration in a spirit of exchange and openness.

The Mémoire Vive / Memória Viva association has undertaken a campaign to collect audiovisual interviews with witnesses of Portuguese immigration. It will also launch a testimonial collection campaign on its site.

The idea is to make a call for contributions in order to film in his neighborhood, his family, his association, his company. This in order to build a transversal, horizontal and transgenerational memory.

THE SALTO

The film "Le Salto", directed by Christian de Chalonge in 1967 is one of the first films on immigration in France. It is also the first time that Portuguese immigrants are the heroes of a film.

"LE SALTO" PROJECT

While no DVD copy exists for the moment, the Mémoire Vive / Memória Viva association has undertaken to build a project around the film. For that we try to militate for a safeguard and a conservation of the existing copies and the diffusion of the film on DVD and in theaters. On the other hand, we have started a campaign to collect film archives and interviews that you can find here.

FFAT - FRENCH FEDERATION OF ART THERAPISTS

The Ffat represents a collective of professionals made up of practicing art therapists, art therapist associations, and future professionals in training.

It is a 1901 law association which now has 230 members, including around ten associations which themselves bring together more than 600 members.

Created in 1997, the FFAT works for the development of the profession in its theoretical, methodological and statutory aspects. The federation has drawn up a code of ethics, a procedure for referencing art therapy training organizations, it has been organizing annual conferences since 2001 and editing the publications of the proceedings of its conferences.

The FFAT participates in research and international work, in connection with many countries in Europe and other continents. Its unifying spirit brings together a large number of professionals belonging to the various currents of thought in art therapy. Carriers of a double competence - artistic and therapeutic, mobilized around the specificity of the profession, the art therapists members of the FFAT offer to the public their professionalism in the accompaniment of any person lacking support to heal themselves, to go beyond a moment of life. difficult, evolve, change ... using creative expression.

In France, the art-therapist profession does not yet benefit from official state recognition.
